    Raymond Leggett

I am Raymond, a semi-retired doctor, married to Mim ( for 45 years). We have four children and nine grandchildren. Originally from Suffolk, we have lived in Doncaster and been members of BEC for over 36 years. It has been a joy to see the Lord’s many blessings on the church fellowship and to see people grow in their faith and service for The Lord. We look forward to seeing the Lord raising up younger people to take up the mantle of leadership. Apart from commitment to church activities and some medical work, I am a keen gardener and have a particular interest in Begonias.

    Henry Arnett

I am Henry, married to Pam. I was born in Doncaster, and am proud of it! Pam and I have two married daughters and five grandchildren. We live not far from the church in Bessacarr. We have been involved in BEC for almost all of the 40 years that it has been in existence. I am a retired engineer, having run a family business in Doncaster. Although Pam and I spend quite a lot of time involved in the church we are both keen on being outdoors, gardening, hill walking, sailing and skiing. It will be something like 55 years since I became a believer in Jesus Christ, a step that I have never regretted.

    Chris Axelby

My name is Chris, married to Angela, dad to 2 married daughters and granddad to 2 little boys. I grew up in Sheffield, not as a Christian, but at the age of 18 I started going to church and it all seemed to make sense! I haven’t looked back since making that decision and would really recommend you explore Christianity! We have been part of BEC for 30 years, originally coming to Doncaster to sell International Harvester tractors. After 24 years in agriculture I now work on the staff of Gideon’s International. In my spare time I mess about with classic cars.

I’m Peter, originally from Malaysia, but have loved living in Yorkshire for over 20 years. My wife Patty and I have 2 daughters, now in their teens, who have grown up in BEC. We feel blessed to have been a part of BEC for the past 13 years and through serving and receiving and being a part of God’s family here, we have seen and experienced His great faithfulness and amazing grace in so many ways. We long for many more people in our town and in our day to come to know the love and grace of the Saviour who loved them and gave Himself for them.

Hi, I’m Simon, married to Kathryn, and we have two teenage boys. We’ve lived in Doncaster for over 20 years and enjoy being part of the BEC family. I became a Christian in my teens and it has been amazing to see God’s faithfulness and help in all aspects of my home, church and work life (I sell sweets). We look forward to welcoming you to the church.
